Call for submissions XIIe Conference of the French Association of Political Economics (AFEP) - Paris, July 4-7, 2023

Crises and inequalities:

How to inhabit the world of tomorrow?

Organized by LADYSS, CESSMA and LIED research units, and by Université Paris Cité

Dear colleagues,

 We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, 4 July, for the Doctoriales and Wednesday, 5 July, for the AFEP General Conference.

Here is some practical information to help you get here:

                - Exact venue: the conference will be held at the Halle aux Farines, Esplanade Pierre Vidal-Naquet, Paris 13ème, a 10-minute walk from the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand metro-RER station or the Avenue de France tram stop on line 3A. A map is available on the conference website here;

                - Organisation of the workshops (see the programme on the website under the "Full programme" tab): each session (lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes) will normally have 4 presentations, with an ideal presentation time of 13 minutes, leaving about 10 minutes for discussion; there will be a computer with a video projector in each room; you can load your slideshow onto a USB stick beforehand or send it to the session chair;

                - Lunches: these will be held in the CROUS in the same building (there will be signs); the buffets will be vegetarian and a separate buffet table will be set up for vegan and gluten-free dishes;

                - Gala Dinner: for those registered for the Gala Dinner on Thursday 6 July (8pm), it will be held at the Petit Bain barge, 7 Port de la Gare, 75013 Paris, a 10-15 minute walk from the conference venue;

Don't forget to keep the badge you will receive on arrival throughout the conference: it will give you access to the CROUS for lunch and to the barge for the gala dinner.

Finally, you can take your water bottle with you as there will be water fountains at your disposal.

We look forward to seeing you over the next few days,

The Congress Organising Committee
